We’ve been getting that spring time corn but winter’s not over. It may be a while before the next significant storm is heading our way. Get the goods now before it melts away.

Snowcat from the 1950’s

Last weekend I got to do training with SAR on driving snowmobiles and how to drive the Snow cats. This one in the picture is a classic and still runs. It almost made it to Lake Helen on Mt. Shasta back in the day.

At the Mt. Shasta Nordic Center….
Registration begins at 9am, race start is 10am. $15 to register, $5 for juniors, free for kids under 7. Free Atlas snowshoe demos, 9 am until 3 pm. All ages, all abilities, beginners welcome!
