South West side of Mt. Shasta

Main routes on southwest side include Avalanche Gulch, The West Face, Shastina, Cascade Gulch, Casaval Ridge and Green Butte Ridge via Sargent’s Ridge. Trail head is Bunny Flat and the Old Ski Bowl.

North side of Mt. Shasta

Main routes on North side include Hotlum/Bolam, Hotlum Glacier, Whitney Glacier and Hotlum/Wintun Routes. Bolam/Whitney trail head very difficult to get to.

East side of Mt. Shasta

Routes on east side include the Hotlum/Wintun, Wintun Glacier, and Clear Creek Routes.
